Lovely quote, Sandy. Is that picture in your house? Looks like your grandma’s sewing machine … so I’m guessing it is. Nice!

I’m seeing the lady in the painting you love contemplating treasured memories. That it hangs on a wall above some of your treasured things is perfect placement indeed.

Sandy, I just checked this site! I am beginning to understand that you live in a Cultural Hot Bed! I have learned about so many fascinating people and places which seem to be in your vicinity. I thank you for this special journey! As you can tell, I never made it very far into West Texas – just passed through a few times on vacations going elsewhere. I am now sorry I didn’t stop! Kathy :O)

Please know Kathy that you are always welcome in my home. I have an extra bedroom with a bath. The desert is so different from what I’m use to but I’ve been learning to appreciate and enjoy it.

Thank you, Sandy! I will not forget. Maybe I will make it to West Texas one of these days! :O)
