I’ve really been disturbed by the future that I saw in the dream, Grandfather. I saw the gentle people of that village being destroyed, and the Earth, too. And that future has indeed come to pass for your people. And from the little I know about American Indian prophecy, a similar future of destruction is in store for my own people. Perhaps, Grandson. And perhaps not. You cannot change the past for my people, but you can help create a different future for all the children of the Earth. That is the value of prophecy. It warns only of a probable future, awakening the hearts of those who truly hear their deepest intention.  Kurt Kaltreider, American Indian Prophecies: Conversations with Chasing Deer

Wow, what a timely quote! I love the guard deer picture too!

Oh my Sandy – – – among all the many (make that myriad) synchronicities (aka little everyday miracles) in my life over all the years & days Nancy Six’s photo today is another example of the more than a few (remember the chipmunk header and ladybug connection?) I’ve experienced on craigfactor:
Yep, I went to bed early last night reading my old book “The Yearling” by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings; as dear to me now (maybe even more so) as it was over apx 60 years ago.

Hey that deer doesn’t have antlers like the one in the sign, not scary! 🙂 … another excellent quote Sandy!
