The quotation is from one of my favorite books, and you photo fits perfectly and is so pretty and interesting!

  2. Barbara Estinson says:

I think I remember your marble picture, Sandy. Now I have to read “Water for Favorites,” especially since it is one of Kathy’s favorites!
And by the way, some days I think I have all my marbles, but they aren’t so nicely sorted as those in the picture.

Hey isn’t Water for Elephants a chick flick? 🙂

    • Sandy says:

I have always found the term chick flick offensive, since to me it usually means a movie where a lot of feelings are shown. Heaven forbid 🙂 Now sappy is another matter! Kathy said it is one of her favorite books and I trust her judgement. Since I hadn’t heard of the book, I didn’t know about the movie. Let me know when you watch it, LOL.

  4. Di Anne Lewis says:

Right on Jesse – – – the book & movie were recommended to me some time ago but even then kinda’ somehow knew it would be a chick flick thing and have therefore not read or seen – – –

  5. Kathy says:

Barb, You make me laugh! Hang onto those marbles!

  6. Sandy says:

I decided to look up the definition of “chick flick” or book since I find the term offensive and I also don’t like some of the movies called a chick flick. Here you go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_flick

  7. Jesse says:

    Chick Flick Week!

    • Sandy says:

Ok, I snorted on that one. You are too funny young man or guy-cry as they called it. It is late here and I’m watching a scary show, thanks for the laugh.
