That is a great picture, Sandy. The quote hits me squarely between the eyeballs … I have been thinking also of the parts of my life that are really gone. There are many things that I would not want to re-experience … but there is also nostalgia with other memories.

  2. Di Anne Lewis says:

    In a word: poignant
Brought to mind “regrets, I’ve had a few” from “My Way” – – – Frank Sinatra singing it as only he could has been going round & round in my head all morning!

  3. Jesse says:

Definitely cloud quote of the week, so good! Interesting in the picture how little one of mankind’s greatest achievements and creation looks in comparison to one of natures simplest 🙂

  4. Jesse says:

Why do you think dark clouds cause him to think of things that were lost in his past and would never return?

    • Sandy says:

So which came first question, the chicken or the egg. Was he daydreaming about his past and happened to look out the window or did he see the dark cloud and think of his past?
