Český Krumlovis a small city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic where Český Krumlov Castle is located. Old Český Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was given this status along with the historic Prague castle district.The city is named Český Krumlov (“Bohemian Crumlaw”) to differentiate it from Moravský Krumlov in South Moravia.

    So where in the photo is the castle? – – – the “castle” looks more like a church/cathedral. Aside from this small Czech city’s unfortunate translation as Crumlaw I’m thinking that for centuries they’ve feared and protected themselves from the giant goldfish lurking in their waterway who still lurk (see golden cast in bottom left of photo) there – – –
