      Right on Barb – – –
Last week I belatedly read the Fall 2014 edition of NRDC’s Nature’s Voice and went to Google Images for pictures of the Tongass National Forest – – – wish I hadn’t sub-clicked on “Tongass National Forest logging” but I did. Heartbreaking. Don’t even get me started on the screen of immature tree mini forests “hiding” the clearcuts on I-90 just east and west of Snoqualmie Pass. Next time you travel that way look for ancient tree stumps amongst these trees alongside I-90. I always do to sadly reflect upon a time that was.
