John Week

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind
William Wordsworth

  1. Hmm – – – interesting John photo to go with quote. Is it a garter snake? Talk about splendour in the grass – – – held many a one years & years & years ago. Have never quite understood people’s fear & loathing of snakes.

    • Sandy says:

      I don’t know what kind of a snake but that would be my guess also. I think people are afraid of snakes because they don’t know a poisonous one from a non poisonous so assume all are deadly!

      • Would you believe that this afternoon in a little patch of plants outside a restaurant in Otis Orchards my friend Karen and I saw the most INCREDIBLE little snake – – – very tiny guy with a black & white front end but the most brilliant blue backend!! Would sure appreciate input from craigfactor people re who this little fella is!
